Since January 1, 2024, the Wheeleo® is partially reimbursed by your health insurance through Iriscare.
The Wheeleo® is reimbursed for a user who has a severe and long-term functional impairment of one of their upper limbs, which prevents them from using a walking frame.
To benefit from this:
Test Wheeleo® with a physiotherapist or occupational therapist at a rehabilitation center (+ test report) > List of centers
Obtain a medical prescription.
Contact the bandagist of your choice.

Wheeleo® is covered by the SMA based on a medical prescription.
Talk to your doctor or a medical equipment retailer.
In most cases, when there is a refund, it is necessary to contact an approved medical equipment retailera medical prescription. A motivational report from a healthcare professional attesting to a positive test is sometimes required (e.g. Brussels). Purchasing on our Wheeleo.eu webshop does not allow for reimbursement, even if you meet the correct indications.
