Since January 1, 2024, Wheeleo® has been partially reimbursed by your mutual insurance company and Iriscare.
Indication of reimbursement:
“Wheeleo® is reimbursed for a user who has a severe, long-term functional impairment of one of their upper limbs, which prevents them from using a walking frame.”
To obtain reimbursement for Wheeleo®, the nomenclature states that a preliminary test must be carried out with a healthcare professional from a rehabilitation center. A test report must be drawn up.

The doctor must also complete the medical prescription.
Contact your nearest medical equipment retailer to find out how to purchase and reimburse a Wheeleo® (subject to conditions).
To obtain a refund, you must use the services of an authorized bandage specialist. Purchases from the www.wheeleo.eu webshop are not eligible for reimbursement.

In most cases, when there is a refund, it is necessary to contact an approved medical equipment retailera medical prescription. A motivational report from a healthcare professional attesting to a positive test is sometimes required (e.g. Brussels). Purchasing from our Wheeleo.eu webshop does not entitle you to a refund, even if you enter the correct details.
